Inspired by the evolution of the rose, 13 is a modular ceramic collection that explores the flower’s transition from a simple five-petaled bloom to its current spiral state with thorns.

The work reflects on the history of this defensive development, expressing a deep longing to return to a state of innocence and vulnerability.

By reclaiming the number 13 and mapping a lunar month through 28 roses made of “fallen clay” - fragments that collapsed on the wheel - the artist transforms them into domestic altars of feminine resilience.
